Pantone Colors

Pantone colors are color codes that stand for a specific shade. You can communicate about colors by defining the pantone code. Basically, pantone is the standard language for colors. Unlike vinyl film colors, pantone colors are printed which allows for a much larger color gamut then vinyl. All printers strive for accurate pantone color matches within 10% to 15% of that actual PMS color. It is important to remember that everyone's monitor displays color differently, please use this as a guide only.

PVC Komatex

KömaTex free-foam PVC sheets exhibit a highly regular, fine-celled foam structure & a good surface strength. The closed, matt, fine-textured, & high-quality surface presents an excellent substrate for printing, painting, & laminating & is easy to process.

Dibond

Dibond is a brand name of aluminium composite sheeting. Lightweight & rigid, this cut plastic material consists of a flexible polyethylene core covered with a thin aluminium sheet on each side, and is finished with a high quality lacquer that guarantees perfect printing.

Gatorfoam

Gatorfoam is a type of display board with a dense inner core made of foam and a rigid exterior made of wood-fiber veneer. This exterior is water resistant & will not easily break or warp. Generally, Gatorfoam is a more ridged version of foamboard.

Magnet

A magnet is a material or object that produces a magnetic field. A force pulls on other ferromagnetic materials, such as iron, steel, nickel, cobalt, etc. and attracts or repels other magnets. Generally used with vehicles & other promotional items

Coroplast

Coroplast is a lightweight (hollow structure), non-toxic, waterproof, shockproof, long-lasting material that resists corrosion. Compared with cardboard, Coroplast has the advantages of being waterproof and colorfast.

Acrylic

A transparent plastic material with outstanding strength, stiffness, & optical clarity. Easy to fabricate, bonds well with adhesives & solvents, & is easy to thermoform. It has superior weathering properties compared to many plastics. Commonly used for backlite signage.

Aluminum

Aluminum is generally silvery-white in color, lightweight metal which endures the outdoor elements. It is soft & malleable, Thicknesses generally range from .040 - .125" & come in a variety of colors. Aluminum is the most used material in sign fabrication today.

Komacel

Made of rigid PVC according to the Celuka process, Komacel™ has characteristics, such as ease of fabrication, that make it appropriate for applications in a variety of industries, including advertising, construction, electrical, photographic and others. Great outdoor durability

MDO Wood

MDO is produced with a high-quality thermosetting resin-impregnated fiber surface bonded to one or both sides under heat and pressure to create an exterior-grade plywood panel. MDO is made with waterproof resins that meet or exceed all veneer-grade, adhesion, and construction requirements.

Foamboard

Foam board, Foamcore or paper-faced foam board is a lightweight and easily cut material used for mounting of photographic prints, as backing for picture framing, for making scale models, and in painting. Generally used for more short-term signage projects.
